It is expected that over 60 people will come along and enjoy a great day, for which there is no charge. RSVP is essential; if you are interested email info@strokensw.org.au or call (02) 9807 6422 to register. This conference would not be possible without the generous assistance of the many sponsors who have contributed.

Information Displays
The Stroke Recovery Clubs and various community and health organisations throughout NSW undertake displays of information material during Stroke Awareness Week. These are often in local shopping centres, hospitals and libraries, with the aim being to distribute information as broadly as possible about Stroke prevention and the recovery process. Last year there were approximately 86 displays throughout the state and this year we are aiming for in excess of 100.

Pottery Fundraiser
The Stroke Recovery Association has received the patronage of a number of Potters from throughout NSW who have donated works of art as a means of fundraising. The pieces are available for viewing here. The fundraising will be through silent auction so go in and have a look, you may be able to pick up a beautiful item. A number of paintings are also available. The auction will be finalised at the launch of Stroke Awareness Week (Tuesday 15th September) so those attending that function can make a further bid there.
